Customer Service Manager Job at MCS Industries, Inc.
This position will be working in office full-time until fully trained when they will have the opportunity to work from home roughly 2 days/week.
POSITION SUMMARY:
A professional who is responsible for providing outstanding customer service by leading and motivating their team. Ability to take ownership of customer and consumer issues and following problems through to resolution. Has excellent communication and technical abilities, as well as people skills. Common goal is to keep the department running in an efficient manner and to increase customer satisfaction and to meet their expectations.
Job Knowledge
Essential Functions:
- Managing Customer Service Representatives and Order Processing personnel
- Management of consumer inquiries and complaints.
- Experience working with high level accounts such as Amazon, Home Depot, Wal-Mart, and Target.
- Able to work with various internal departments to resolve issues and implement existing and new processes.
- Interdepartmental interface between outside sales, customers and consumers
- Managing in-house and web-based orders and inquires
- Implementation of special projects and follow through to completion.
- Knowledge and implementation of EDI support business processes.
Communication Skills
The Customer Service Manager must be able to communicate verbally and in writing effectively when dealing with other associates, supervisors, managers and staff. Also, must be able to communicate effectively with customers, consumers and outside sales team.
Physical Requirements
The Customer Service Manager must be able to perform the physical tasks of the position. This position works in an office environment.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to sit or stand at computer workstation and/or desk for a full shift.
- Ability to enter data and look at monitor for extended periods.
- Ability to talk and/or listen for a full shift.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds as needed.
Education and Experience
Minimum of 5 years experience performing similar functions is necessary. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and Website Applications in a must, Experience with MFG/QAD (or similar), PKMS, EDI, and vendor portals would be a plus.
