We specialize in Medicare, small business health insurance, and individual and family plans.

As a customer service representative for Health Benefits Associates, you will act as the liaison between our clientele and our team of licensed insurance agents. To be successful in your role as a customer service representative, you should have attention to detail and demonstrate proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and CRM databases. Bilingual preferred. You should also maintain professionalism and achieve outstanding customer service.

What you can expect in the Customer Service Representative role at Health Benefits Associates:

• You will be expected to provide administrative support primarily for your direct supervisor, but also other licensed agents in the office.
• You will answer and direct phone calls of clients and carriers.
• You will greet and assist clients/visitors in the office.
• You will work with your direct report to build illustrations for clients through an online quoting platform. This includes updating census, selecting plan options, and generating the report specific to the client.
• You will organize and schedule appointments and meetings primarily for your direct supervisor, but also for licensed agents whose schedule best accommodates the client’s needs.
• You will carry out administrative duties for the office to include but not limited to filing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
• You will input client data into an online Customer Relationship Management system. You will maintain confidentiality.
• You will assist in processing enrollments and terminations for group clients and sending confirmation to the broker on the account.
• You will help to refine existing marketing strategies to include but not limited to television commercials, digital ad campaigns, mail marketing and email marketing campaigns.
• You will assist to improve the internal processes of the organization to adapt to the changing market.
• You will help to organize and plan for specific events our office hosts.
• You will be subject to a semi-annual performance reviews from your direct supervisor.

Benefits and Retirement Package

• Starting Salary: $17-$21/ hour based on education and experience
• Benefits and Retirement Packages:
• Health Benefits Associates offers medical, dental, and vision effective the first of the month following 60 days of employment. The company contributes 70% towards employee’s premium. If you elect an HSA compatible plan, Health Benefits Associates will match up to $1,000 of your contribution.
• You will be eligible for our 401K, Life and Disability following 6 months of employment. Health Benefits Associates will match up to the first 6% of your 401K contribution.
• Health Benefits offers paid time off.
