JOB SUMMARY

Establish and maintain customer relationships while managing customer request for quotes and orders. Facilitate customer communication between the customer, inside/outside sales, and other departments as necessary to ensure customer demands are being met.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Produce customer quotes based on RFQ’s received from email, phone, and fax.
• Verify customer orders to reflect the correct price and lead time as quoted and process accordingly.
• Compile accurate cost estimates for products using company ERP system.
• Manage order data changes/updates company ERP system.
• Communicate and help to resolve problems/opportunities with all company personnel/resources.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of products manufacturing processes, customers, and vendors.

• Knowledge of reading and understanding blueprints
• Knowledge of mechanical measurements (dimension/tolerance)

• Basic knowledge of raw material metals and finishes (outside processing)
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing setting
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Knowledge of Infor Visual or similar ERP/MRP system

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma, 2 Year degree preferred
• Two (2) years’ experience in manufacturing setting (Fasteners industry preferred)
