We are seeking a successful Customer Service Representative to join our team to assist our organization in providing a successful work environment where our employees can be safe, thrive and give their personal best each day. This position is expected to work out of our office at 2765 Lafayette St in Santa Clara, and some job related travel may be required. This is a temporary position with possibility of full time.

Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY:

GreenWaste of Palo Alto is currently seeking highly motivated, professional, self-directed, and enthusiastic candidate for a Customer Service Representative position. Ideal candidate will act as a liaison, provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our customers might face with accuracy and efficiency. The target is to ensure excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction. We expect candidates will meet the minimum requirements, but recognize candidates may not encompass all the skills and experience listed in this announcement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing and answering large amounts of customer service calls/questions and resolving calls in a timely manner.
  • Documenting all customer service calls in our company specific database.
  • Maintaining customer records by updating account information.
  • Mailing service information to our customers.
  • Data entry duties.
  • Radio Dispatch to drivers
  • Daily communication with driver and route supervisor assistance.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to manage your time and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills and ability to sit at a computer workstation for extended periods of time.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office
  • Spanish fluency is highly desirable

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Proficiency in English and Spanish

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift to 15 pounds on occasion.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Typical work week is based on a Monday - Friday daytime schedule. Some early morning, evening, weekend and holiday work may be required.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
