POSITION TITLE: NJPCA – Data and Program Specialist
REPORTS TO: President and CEO
STATUS: Part-time Exempt
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in public policy or administration, economics, public health, management, sociology, or a related field required.
SKILLS: Strong data collection, analysis and report writing skills. Demonstrated understanding of health policy context as related to data and research. Ability to present data orally and in writing, in a manner that is understandable by health policy makers and leaders. Ability to work with confidential information, commitment to excellence, superior interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a timely manner. Experience in Access, Excel, or similar spreadsheet programs and/or database programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for conducting data collection and analysis on issues related to Health Center clinical, financial, and operational performance. Communicate with various health center staff as needed. Disseminate critical and timely information to Health Centers as needed.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Collect and analyze Health Center data.
- Conduct research, prepare reports and issue briefs focused on the Federally Qualified Health Centers in New Jersey.
- Monitor grant opportunities and assist with grant writing activities.
- Assist with planning and hosting training and technical assistance events.
- Assist with NJPCA’s E-magazine publication.
- Participate in webinars and meetings to relay critical information back to the Health Centers.
- Conduct data updates for the NJPCA website.
- Perform all other duties as required.
- Must be able to occasionally travel to and attend off-site meetings.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Self-determined schedule
