As a data engineer senior, you'll be part of our key initiative to move to the cloud as part of our organizational transformation. You'll be part of our Business of IT Data Warehouse team and be responsible for initiatives to move to the cloud and enhance the customer experience in alignment with our roadmaps. The Business of IT Data Warehouse team provides new development and production support for IT related data warehouses which includes Asset, and Service Management (Incident, Problem, Request), Project Management, and IT Control. On this team, you'll influence architecture, lead through others, mentor, and develop partnership skills across IT. You'll work in the application stack and assist with navigating our architectural landscape by collaborating with engineering teams, application developers, governance, architects, and other stakeholders. You'll be part of the team that designs, develops, and maintains our data products.

Must-have qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and two years of work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications
• In lieu of degree, minimum of four years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications may be accepted.

Preferred Skills

• Extensive experience with building data pipelines and experience with programming languages used in analytics and data science (ex: Python)
• Experience with CI/CD and Git-based development or similar
• Experience with cloud providers like AWS and cloud services like Snowflake, data replication, orchestration, and transformation tools (ex: HVR, Prefect, dbt, etc. or similar tech stack)
• Experience with Linux, Shell scripting and advanced SQL and experience with automating ETL/ELT tasks and creating, updating, and troubleshooting complex SQL queries

Compensation

• $102,500 - $132,000/year
• Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
