About the role:
The Data Entry Clerk will provide administrative, clerical, and customer support services to the Sales Team. A Data Entry Clerk is responsible for transferring data from paper formats into computer files or database systems. They type in customers' information and create spreadsheets, verifying them against source documents at different stages.

Location: Doral, Florida
Compensation: $35,000 - $40,000 Annually + PLUS BENEFITS
Available Shift: Monday to Friday.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide administrative, clerical, and customer support services to the Sales Team.
  • Maintain an up-to-date customer database by entering customer profile details.
  • Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners.
  • Type in data provided directly by customers.
  • Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes.
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
  • Update existing data.
  • Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
  • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
  • Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • MINIMUM 1+ years of experience in sales, administrative assistant, customer service, or similar.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Computer skills, including data entry skills, spreadsheets, data programs, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be attentive to customers' needs and determined to provide customer satisfaction.
  • Must have proficient math skills to handle cash and credit card payments.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, multitask, be flexible and meet deadlines.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work well with others and be a team player.
  • Ability to manage schedules and inventory.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
