Reviews, audits, and processes incoming employee data changes via HRIS (Human Resources Information System); the type of data changes vary, are time sensitive and often include several tasks to complete the business process. Reviews union seniority date, salary review date and step during task review to make sure they are correct, updates as needed per union contract. Reviews daily audit reports for errors and discrepancies, and partners with team to make appropriate corrections or changes. Prepares union step increases, union longevity bonuses and union certification pay; identifying the correct employee population for the current pay cycle to ensure contract compliance. Processes union seniority updates annually or quarterly as identified in the contract. Collaborates with Workforce Labor Relations on contract implementation tasks, including any step restructuring or changes to future step movement, changes in seniority processing, etc. Research and resolve service request inquires relating to union data changes or corrections. Assists with EIB/mass updates and processes a variety of employee data changes ensuring e-form is thoroughly completed and implementing change timely and accurately. Partners with team to update DTPs and Job Aids, making sure resources are accurate and up to date. Processes non-union affiliate longevity bonuses. Prepares team metric reports.Job Description:

EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
2 years recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Thorough knowledge of HR data processing and associated procedures.
Ability to read, comprehend, and apply policies and procedures.
Ability to learn and understand new processes or concepts quickly.
Ability to use keyboard by touch to input alphanumeric data for extended periods.
Demonstrates critical thinking skills with the ability to recognize issues or questionable information/data, and to determine solution or next steps.
Organization skills and attention to details.
Displays a customer service focus in all decisions and actions.
Ability to prioritize workload and to process a high volume of requests/documents accurately and timely
Ability to communicate through verbal and written means, and to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to to interact and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the performance of required duties.

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
