$15.00 - $17.50 an hour
The Daycare Teacher will be responsible to prepare and execute plans for a safe, spiritual, developmentally appropriate environment for the children placed in his or her care. The hours for this position will vary in order to cover classrooms as needed.
Requirements
- Showing evidence of Christian maturity demonstrated in attitude, actions, and speech
- Demonstrates love for students
- Effective communication
- Strong organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Provide opportunities and equipment for meeting the physical, mental, emotional, and social needs of the children assigned to their care
- Supervise support staff/classroom assistants or volunteers who may be working in the classroom
- Write, plan, and implement class activities and programs
- Participate in all required training sessions, staff meetings, open houses, and other special functions as requested by the program director
- Working with directors, other teachers, and staff as a team, to provide a spirit of community
- Other duties as assigned
