Democratic Political Campaign Manager and Field Manager Job at Nassau County Democrats

Nassau County Democrats are the offical Democratic Party of Nassau County, New York. We are working to get more Democrats elected into office in Nassau County. We are fighting for a better, fairer and brighter future, building more inclusive, stronger communities and electing leaders that share our Democratic values.
Our organization is seeking campaign managers and field organizers for 2023 campaigns. Must have prior experience as a field organizer and/or campaign manager. The successful candidate will manage a campaign which requires strategic thinking and strong leadership skills. Must be proficient using VAN/VoteBuilder, in addition to auto-dialer technology for Virtual Phone Banks and have experience running text campaigns. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively and will have at least basic to intermediate knowledge of managing social media campaigns including how to create graphics and navigate new digital technology. Prior work in Nassau County and New York State is a plus.
Requirements:
-Ability to track and report data in a timely, consistent, and accurate manner
-Great organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
-Proficiency with VoteBuilder/VAN, autodialers and text campaign software
-Ability to implement a voter contact plan -Experience managing calendar, planning and attending relevant events
-Experience with digital and social media - including posting and promotion
-Manage phone calls, emails, communications and door to door campaigning
-Coordinate with candidate and management -Ability to draft campaign materials and implement communication strategy
-Access to a vehicle, valid driver's license, laptop and cell phone
-Willingness to work long hours, including nights and weekends (as necessary)
