Dental Assistant Job at Ko & Ko Periodontics

Requirements:
1. Positive and enthusiastic attitude
2. Exception written and verbal communication skills
3. Self motivated and adaptable but also a team player
4. Computer skills - Word processing, electronic health records charting
5. RDA license (Required)
Responsibilities including but not limited to:
1. Assisting the dentist in charting, note taking and assisting in surgical procedures
2. Reviewing pre-op and post-op instructions as well as prescriptions
3. Setting up and break down of operatory and sterilization of instruments
4. Taking radiographs and intraoral photos (willing to train)
5. Drafting correspondence letters
6. Some front office help (answering phones, scheduling, checking in patients)
Experience:
Dental assistant experience : 1 year preferred, new grads welcome to apply
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Hours: 32 hours a week (Tuesday- Friday)
