Pomeroy is looking for a skilled Deskside Support person for a 3 month contract to hire position. The appropriate candidate provides on-site field support to customers. Performs installations, repairs, upgrades and maintenance on hardware and equipment.

Our client is looking for a skilled Deskside Support person for a 3 month contract to hire position. The appropriate candidate provides on-site field support to customers. Performs installations, repairs, upgrades and maintenance on hardware and equipment. The appropriate candidate will act as a Senior Deskside Support / Break-Fix.

Requirements:

• 5 years minimum consistent experience in IT Deskside Support, Desktop break/fix support
• Excellent Windows 10 and Microsoft Office Suite trouble shooting skills, as well as hardware trouble shooting skills.
• Must have break/fix experience
• Networking experience is required
• Excellent attention to detail, customer service skills, multi-tasking skills, ticket management/documentation skills, written and verbal communication skills REQUIRED.
• Must be able to work in a team environment and collaborate, and excellent interpersonal skills required.
• Experience with Mac would be a plus

Responsibilities:

• Duties will include troubleshooting and repair of Windows 10 OS, MS Office Suite products trouble shooting, including Outlook email and calendar issues, a variety of 3rd party software and proprietary client applications, hardware issues for both PC's and laptops (HP and DELL environment), PC/Laptop parts replacement down to the system board level, Apple iDevice support, imaging, data wiping, asset control, and detailed ticket documentation.

Other:

• Must have reliable transportation, as travel to other sites within the area may be required.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
