We are seeking a skilled and experienced LabVIEW Programmer with expertise in object-oriented programming to join our team. As a LabVIEW Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining LabVIEW-based applications, primarily in the field of Electrical, Acoustics and Vibration Testing Technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop LabVIEW-based software solutions to meet project requirements, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, scientists, and technicians to define software requirements and specifications.
  • Design, implement, and test LabVIEW programs using object-oriented programming principles to ensure modularity, scalability, and code reusability.
  • Create intuitive and user-friendly graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for LabVIEW applications.
  • Integrate LabVIEW programs with hardware components, sensors, and other equipment as needed.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of LabVIEW applications to identify and resolve software defects or performance issues.
  • Document software designs, code, and test procedures to ensure maintainability and facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Stay updated with the latest LabVIEW features, techniques, and best practices to continually improve the development process.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify areas of improvement and contribute to the enhancement of the overall software development workflow.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and propose appropriate solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in LabVIEW and software development environment.
  • Existing LabVIEW certifications are a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics would be a bonus!
  • Proven experience in object-oriented programming with LabVIEW, including design patterns, classes, and inheritance.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices, such as version control, code documentation, and unit testing.
  • Knowledge of hardware integration and experience working with sensors, data acquisition systems, and control devices.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and protocols (e.g., GPIB, TCP/IP, MODBUS, CAN bus) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting project deadlines.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
