Diesel Technician II Job at Timco Logistics
Timco Logistics Systems, LLC a premier multimodal transportation provider is seeking a Diesel Tech (Mechanic) out of our Waxahachie, Texas facility. Ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of verifiable diesel mechanic experience, trailer repair experience is a plus. Job Duties:
- Perform diagnostic inspections on general Class A systems utilizing both mechanical diagnostics and system software diagnostics.
- Perform preventative maintenance of Class A truck components
- Perform repairs to Class 8 truck components
- Complete required computer work (TMT) to reflect hours and parts which are utilized within each job function.
- Available for after hours call-outs at WAXA terminal and surrounding 5 mile area
- Communicate to leadership issues and concerns found during repair
- Safety conscious and knowledge of general shop safety
- Capable of completing job functions with minimal to no repeat repairs
Requirements:
- Basic Knowledge of DOT rules and requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- High School Diploma
- Technical Schooling Highly Desired
- Must have own tools
- 1-3 years Class A equipment repair and preventative maintenance experience
- Texas State Inspector (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
