Digital Banking Operations Specialist Job at AMG NATIONAL TRUST

POSITION PURPOSE:
To process and monitor electronic banking operational activities and financial services, particularly ACH, wire and card activity.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in ACH processing, branch operation activities, terminology and products and services relating to retail and commercial account customers
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

- Knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations
- Intermediate to advanced skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; mainframe computer system operations; and word processing, spreadsheet and account opening software programs, including MS Word and Excel
- Strong math skills; calculate interest and balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operations:
- Provide excellent, timely service to internal and external clients
- Monitor customer ACH origination activity; meet all daily deadlines for wire and ACH processing
- Reconcile various types of accounts; identify, research and correct exceptions on a timely basis and obtain appropriate approvals
- Communicate with digital banking partners to correct exceptions
- Review, print, record, file, update information and sort reports as assigned.
- Assist in account transfers and system migrations, including system uploads and spreadsheets
- Maintain escalation procedures and contingency plans
- Research and resolve issues, initiate corrective actions, and obtain appropriate approvals
- Recommend automation to streamline and replace manual processes
- Identify and document areas for process and procedures improvement
- Assist in compliance and audits related to all aspects of Digital Banking division
- Maintain proficient knowledge of NACHA rules, BSA rules, Bank Secrecy Act and related Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations (OFAC checks, monitoring for suspicious activity, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned.
