The Digital Strategist will work in partnership with Capitol Broadcasting Company’s radio and TV sales teams to identify and nurture digital opportunities. The Digital Strategist will be responsible for:

• Working closely with our tv/radio sales teams to strategically uncover new digital advertising and marketing opportunities.
• Managing forecasting and providing oversight on digital pipeline for sellers that fall under direct purview, with weekly reports to Digital Strategy Manager
• Understanding how digital and broadcast work together and can benefit our clients
• Partnering with sales reps to deliver an exceptional client experience, with a focus on digital strategy and client retention
• Serving in a client-facing role to support digital sales presentations and client onboarding
• Working in sync with clients and internal campaign managers to ensure all assets and deliverables are approved for successful campaign implementation
• Participate in planning and implementation of training program for all digital sellers.
• Clearly communicating client goals and expectations up and down the organization.
• Providing client and sales trainings as needed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of client service or sales experience in a digital agency, media company or a digital marketing company. A strong working knowledge of how the digital ecosystem works is a must.

• An understanding of broadcast media (tv or radio)
• Strong presentation skills and confident presence in front of clients
• A team player who can work with others toward common goals
• The capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, often changing environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel/spreadsheets and comfortable learning new software and processes as needed, including our internal project management system (ClickUp)
