Lifesteps is hiring Direct Care Aides (Caregivers) in the Monongahela and Monessen areas.

Position Summary: The Direct Care Aide position provides a high level of quality care to individuals who have disabilities while ensuring that each individual is treated with respect and dignity. Caregivers improve the quality of life for each individual by assisting them with living and functioning as independently as possible in their home and community.

Job duties can include cooking meals, cleaning the house, shopping, medication administration, personal care, and assisting with goal attainment.

No experience required. We offer paid training.

We currently have full-time positions working 40 hours weekly in either the Daylight shift (7 am to 3 pm) or Evening shift (3 pm to 11 pm).

Part-time can be 8 hours per week up to 28 hours per week. (Daylight, Evening, and Overnight shifts available for part-time.) Part-time hours also available with a flexible schedule.

Position Requirements:

• 18 yrs. or older
• Ability to lift 200 lbs. with assistance
• Valid driver’s license/auto insurance
• Prior experience as a Home Health Aide, In Home Caregiver, or Direct Support Professional is helpful, but not required.
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances
