Adult Learning Systems-Lower Michigan Inc is a non-profit organization that provides residential services to persons with disabilities. We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to work at our 24-hour homes in Macomb County

Our company is seeking individuals who have immediate availability and serious about making a difference in the lives of others.

Position needed : full and part time afternoons (Afternoons and Midnights)

Responsibilities for Direct Care Worker:

• Monitoring and engaging in daily activities
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Preparing/serving meals
• Passing medications
• Transportation
• Must accept responsibility and directions positively and willingly

Qualifications for Direct Care Worker:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license
• Must be 18 years old
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. This is an essential job function that may involve up to 20% of the scheduled time.
• Must be able to complete required reports and follow written and oral instruction.
• Must be capable of handling emergency situations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.25 - $15.50 per hour
