Description:
The Direct Mail Specialist is responsible for sending out direct mail packages to Charlotte and surrounding areas daily, as well as expeditiously and accurately handling document scanning and other administrative tasks while professionally representing the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare marketing information to be sent to potential clients.
- Send out Direct Mail packages to Charlotte and surrounding areas.
- Open mail.
- Scan insurance, medical, litigation and work comp mail and send notification to appropriate staff member using DocuWare.
- Deliver checks.
- Retrieve faxes 2-4 times daily and post to electronic document program.
- Prepare case files to be closed.
- Post notes in Needles for closed files being sent offsite to storage.
- Order office supplies for the Charlotte office.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Three years’ office/clerical experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment
- Self-motivated and demonstrate initiative to complete duties without supervision
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows/Office & ability to learn & use various software programs
