Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) is looking for an exceptional Director, Advanced Analytics, to generate data-driven insights for its fulfillment operations. In this role you will help optimize WFS performance to ensure we execute our seller fulfillment operations flawlessly. You will lead a team of highly capable analysts who are laser-focused on tackling and solving complex logistics and fulfillment problems. Strong knowledge of both fulfillment and transportation networks are critical for this role. This role requires you to dive deep to solve root cause operations issues/challenges, as well as partner with internal and external stakeholders to make longer-term strategic recommendations. You'll make an impact by...
  • Business Partnerships: Providing consulting expertise and acting as a subject matter expert to senior functional leadership (e.g., VPs, SVPs, EVPs); articulating the needs of current and future customers to executive leadership. Developing, reviewing and influencing business strategies and integrating customer strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Project Scope: Defining and developing scope for analytics within WFS through developing and managing Analytics roadmap. Ensuring solution and analytical plans reflect business priorities.
  • Model Development: Overseeing the development and implementation of data and analytics models for all projects within WFS. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align modeling solutions with business priorities and strategies.
  • Proof of Concept and Prototype: Directing the implementation of production-ready complex algorithms for all projects. Developing the testing and validation methodology and processes. Presenting production-ready algorithms to cross-functional partners (e.g., software engineering, category management) to gain buy-in.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Directing analysis of business issues, considering team structures and iteration models needed to develop innovative solutions. Partnering with leadership across all analytics functions to define the data analysis strategies based on business priorities.
  • Collaboration: Partnering with functional leadership and other cross-functional leaders across the organization (e.g., Site Merchandising, Finance, Merchandising) to develop consultative solutions for all projects for a small business area, category or prototype, ensure buy-in for recommendations as necessary and ensure alignment on data analysis strategies. Proactively maintains existing relationships and developing new relationships with external business partners and vendors.
  • Leadership - Responsible for leading a large team of analytics associates, with diverse skill sets, who focus on reporting, analysis and automation.
  • People Development: Ensuring associates are receiving learning and development opportunities (e.g., training, mentoring) for the good of the associate and Walmart. Coaching team members and provides feedback to enhance skills, knowledge, and work performance. Mentors less experienced associates and managers. Identifying new and emerging skills needed by Advanced Analytics associates.

The annual salary range for this position is $168,000.00-$252,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Minimum Qualifications...
