The Director of Treasury is responsible for overseeing the cash management, debt management, investment management, liquidity management, and asset/liability (ALCO) management for the Bank. This position will play a key role in executing the Bank’s strategy through the maintenance of overall corporate liquidity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Oversee all treasury management functions with the goal of managing the firm’s liquidity and mitigating risk to the Bank
• Ensure all treasury related policies and procedures are reviewed and maintained. This includes policies relating to cash position, treasury operations, derivative activity, liquidity, ALCO, and cashflow management reporting
• Continuously perform assessments on, and seek ways to improve, existing processes as well as treasury related products, services, technologies, and systems
• Maintain and cultivate funding relationships with wholesale funding brokers
• Assist in the Bank’s strategic planning by identifying recommendations and action plans relating to liquidity issues, forecasting short- and long-term funding needs, and financing strategies
• Forecast cash flow positions and prepare reports for senior management. Reconcile historical cash flows against current data
• Oversee derivative and hedging activities
• Manage all investment portfolio strategic functions
• Conduct borrowing and investing activities
• Establish liquidity and interest rate risk goals and develop actionable plans to achieve established goals
• Remain current on all treasury management and banking related regulations and laws to ensure the Bank’s documents, processes, and procedures are compliant

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years in financial services or banking. Proven experience leading a team of financial professionals

• Strong understanding of treasury management concepts in the banking industry
• Strong analytical, research, planning, and organizing skills
• Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Business Management, or related field; advanced degree or professional designations (i.e., Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)) preferred
• High-level of proficiency in MS Office Suite (specifically Excel and other modeling tools) required
• FIS experience preferred
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast pace environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Critical attention to detail
