This individual will provide leadership on the Workday HCM implementation, design, and strategy as it relates to Workday. Understands user profile strategies, analyze solutions and recommend solution that align with business strategy and compliance standards. Define detailed technical requirements and validate potential solutions/approaches with other cross functional departments.
Responsibility:
  • Develop strategy and provide tactical direction to the IT department as it relates to Workday with management and ownership
  • Provides strategic direction for rolling out new solutions and maintaining them as it relates to Workday HCM, with a strong focus on efficiency, data privacy, and compliance.
  • Researches, proposes and implements HCM systems enhancements that will improve the functionality for the company.
  • Develop project scope, cost, resource requirements, product requirements, and manage projects to completion
  • Partner with Human Resources such as HRIS, Compensation, Payroll, and other cross-functional teams to gather and prioritize needs and develop effective solutions
  • Manage Workday Releases, review activities and recommendations for business with regards to system enhancements and changes

Qualifications:
Experience and Education
  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in Human Resources technology, Information Technology, Product Management, or Operations management.
  • 5+ years of experience in implementing and supporting Workday technology people
  • Masters Degree in business or Information Technology preferred.

Hot Skills
  • Workday or Core HCM expertise required

Knowledge and Skills
  • Technical knowledge of HR Systems and Information Services including programming, operation, and system development
  • Strong Ability to communicate technically complex ideas and concepts.
  • Strong Management and supervisory skills.
  • Expert knowledge of technical product management
  • Skills in productivity, planning and workload management
  • Strong exposure to store systems and technology and experience with leading development teams
  • Ability to understand business strategy, organization, function, and goals set by Cracker Barrel.

Work Environment
  • Hybrid or Remote work available.
  • If remote, required travel into the home office twice monthly or as needed.
