Job Description

The Director of Analytics and Operations is responsible for providing insights and sound business recommendations to company executives. This role closely works with IPS VP in strategy planning, analysis/insights, and reporting financial performance. The Director will collaborate with the VP on a multitude of projects that draws upon the knowledge of the rebate business and correlates business inputs (members, distributors, manufacturers) with projected outcomes. Business decisions and future planning will rely on the analysis and trends from the Director and Analytics Team.
The Director will manage and collaborate with team analysts and business leaders to evaluate data, create reports, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). As part of this role, the Director is responsible for the IPS month-end report, that encompasses all aspects of sales, manufacturer rebates and distributor spend; capturing insight on net new members, lost members, roll over (prior year new), new base business and tracking insights on pipeline Opportunities/Net Revenue and Risks. The Director is responsible for ensuring transparency of the IPS business to GPO finance on the performance of the business.
This role manages a team of 4 Analysts.


COMPENSATION:
The salary rate for this position ranges from $114,180.00 to $199,815.00 depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

Function as a part of the IPS Leadership Team
  • Be a core contributor to the month-end close process; providing reporting and insights on IPS TPV, NVD, and Revenue metrics
  • Work with executives and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop partnerships across different functional teams with a desire to work in a collaborative, intellectually environment
  • Further develop analytics platform, driving initiatives to reinvent the organization’s analytics capabilities
  • Prepare and transform data, templates and create reports for internal teams and/or external clients
  • Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
  • Structure large data sets to find usable information
  • Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings for IPS departments and executive reporting
  • Use software development best practices during the development lifecycle
  • Manage four direct reports and oversee projects, prioritize requests, address issues and escalations and ensure coverage of departmental standards and requests
The Director will evaluate analytical needs of IPS departments and ensure adequate resource coverage, expertise and tools needed to ensure success of the respective departments and resources.
  • Collaborate with Director of Manufacturer Relations to enhance Member and Manufacturer Rebate Review Process
  • Oversight of Lost Reporting (MVM) to ensure timely reporting drops
  • Oversight of Salesforce – to ensure functionality is developed to support the IPS departments as well as the GPO business. Director will review requests with the Salesforce Manager and determine best practices and establish priorities in conjunction with other GPO groups and in conjunction with VP

Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field, including analytics or other quantitative discipline.
Years of Relative Experience
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in financial reporting and analytics and managing teams and performance.
Travel Requirements
  • Less than 20% Travel
  • Travel to: Corporate meetings, supplier meetings, distributor meetings, trade shows, conferences.
