Responsibilities:
The Director of Logistics will be responsible for overseeing inbound and outbound supply chain for the company, including but not limited to medications, laboratory specimens, medical supplies, office supplies, and capital expenditures. High level responsibilities include routing and scheduling functions, budgeting and financial planning, safety, and compliance with applicable polices and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide thought leadership and oversee the logistics of all our businesses, with a primary focus on RX, Rx@Home and Lab Services.
  • Ensure routes and shipping methods are driving extraordinary customer outcomes and maximizing economic benefits.
  • Manage inbound and outbound supply chain for medications, laboratory specimens, medical supplies, and capital items.
  • Ensure technology is on the cutting edge to minimize manual intervention on the above.
  • Initiate best practices in logistics management.
  • Lead and support cross-functional project management such as new location start-ups and business specific initiatives.
  • Establish strong relationships with shipping and delivery vendors to optimize our transportation network from our suppliers to our customers.
  • Travel required, including overnight stays, as needed
Qualifications:
  • Four (4) year degree in business, healthcare, or equivalent from an accredited college or university. Master's degree preferred.

Experience
  • At least five (5) years logistics strategy and management experience, including quality management, distribution. cost forecasting and planning required.
  • Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products, and database management.
