Telos Corporation (Telos) is looking for a Director of Pricing to join our team. This position will report to the Vice President, Corporate Growth. This position will be based in our HQ located in Ashburn, VA.


Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains documentation and internal controls over pricing activities to ensure compliance in regard to external audit, CMMI, ISO, etc;
  • Develop and implement targeted Pricing Actions across P&Ls to proactively maximize profit in support of Commercial, US Government and International bids;
  • Develop and execute recommendations of all price strategies across in support of Commercial, US Government and International bids;
  • Prepare detailed pricing proposals and business volumes in response to requests for proposals (RFPs) and request for quotations (RFQs);
  • Provide pricing recommendations and participate in pursuit, capture and bid strategic reviews for Commercial, US Government and International opportunities;
  • Make recommendations to senior leadership about pricing strategies based on customer profiles, risk, technology and historical usage analysis;
  • Develop target rate analyses;
  • Directs price-to-win (PTW)" discussions and conduct the target price analyses for proposal activities;
  • Conduct price analysis on subcontractor quotes and negotiate prices as directed by VP, Growth;
  • Negotiate and influence internally to encourage testing and adoption of new pricing structures and strategies;
  • Develop pricing models, processes and deployment of such across the company;
  • Manage contractual pricing commitments;
  • Build relationships with all relevant internal customers such as Finance, Contracts, BD, Capture, Proposals and Operations to ensure the cost/price proposal is professional, compliant, accurate, competitive, and profitable;
  • Align Telos product(s) strategy with the Pricing and Contract Strategy at the customer level;
  • Identify and implement tools to automate pricing.



Requirements:

  • BS/BA required; with concentration in finance or business; MBA preferred;
  • Minimum of 10+ years in pricing, sales, finance, or a combination of functions with significant experience in US Government;
  • Experience in all types of contracts-T&M, FFP, CPFF, CPAF, CPIF, BPA, LH, and IDIQ;
  • Familiarity with Government CAS and FAR;
  • Past performance showing ability to lead multiple projects efficiently;
  • Ability to work in an environment adopting organizational change;
  • Ability to work effectively under time critical deadlines and high stress situations;
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, as well as oral and written communication skills;
  • Proven decision and problem-solving skills.
