The Supplier Performance Director leads supply base in the Supplier Excellence program toward world class Quality, Delivery and Cost. Develops and maintains relationships with suppliers to ensure we are receiving required quality products and competitive quotes in support of company vision for growth.

What you will be doing:

• Confer with suppliers and analyze supplier issues to determine factors affecting performance (Quality, Delivery and Cost)
• Direct responsibility to coordinate supplier quality issues, secondary role related to deliver and cost
• Monitor quality of goods from suppliers and coordinate the reject/return/debit process with suppliers, as needed
• Perform periodic supplier audits and coordinate supplier self-assessments & 3rd party supplier assessments as required
• Utilize a hands-on approach to build a supplier performance program for direct and indirect materials and services
• Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments
• Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of associates, customers, contractors, and vendors
• Ability to travel up to 40%

What we need from you:

• 5+ years’ experience with Food Manufacturing and quality management
• Familiarity with performing customer performance improvements activities with large retailers
• Software skills in programs including Microsoft suite of products and analytics software
• Effective communication skills to communicate with all levels of the organization and external partners
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project completion

The compensation for this position is: $125,000 to $160,000
