Dishwasher: Duties and Responsibilities

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine.
• Sort and stack clean dishes.
• Carry clean dishes to service line and other proper storage areas.
• Wash pots, pans and trays by hand
• Remove trash and garbage to dumpster
• Set up or break down dishwashing area
• Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions
• Sweep/mop floors
• Assemble/disassemble dish machine
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish-washing station
• Clean and stock specified items/areas

Education and/or Experience

• Food Handler Certificate (Required or ability to obtain at hire)
• Must be able to read and understand the labels on chemicals
• No experience required
• Ability to read and speak fluently in English for all job related circumstances.
• Ability to understand basic math
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
