The person in this position must have strong listening and problem solving skills, solid oral and written communication skills, good organizational abilities and computer experience. At least three years of customer service experience.

PRINCINPAL ACTIVITIES:

  • Publishing complaints and customer reviews in BBB database
  • Telephone intake, assessment, and data entry of customer disputes
  • Faxing, telephoning, and e-mail descriptions of customer disputes to subject business
  • Following up with both parties as to positions of disputes using above communication devices
  • Applying neutral problem solving techniques to assist in the resolution of disputes
  • One to one interviewing with office visitors for disputes assistance and intake
  • Composition of written communication involving conciliations
  • Other duties as needed

EFFECT ON END RESULT:

By acting as a neutral dispute liaison for the consumer and business, the BBB’s community role as a marketplace problem solver is enhanced.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
