Two plus years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior loan documentation experience and/or loan boarding experience. Prior experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (electronic files). Knowledge of legal entities, collateral documentation, title insurance and banking regulations. Ability to utilize computer applications associated with the Bank's software for documentation and operating systems. Working knowledge of banking and credit structures and documentation. Comprehensive knowledge of loan documents and processes for a variety of loan types. Detail oriented and the ability to work quickly while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. Excellent organizational and communication skills, problem solving and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of general office practices and personal computer operations including word processing, spreadsheets, and email software programs.
- Meet or exceed established service level standards for the department.
- Review loan requests and supporting documentation for completeness. Ensure adherence to the Bank's policies, procedures, and underwriting standards.
- Review entity, approval, collateral, and other supporting documentation as applicable to appropriately create loan documents.
- Create and maintain loan files in the Bank’s electronic document management system(s) (Sageworks/Synergy).
- Work with the lending team, title companies, insurance agents, credit administration, compliance, and other related departments and external agents to address any issues discovered in the review process.
- Maintain a working knowledge of Entity, Collateral and Title documentation requirements and concepts.
- Identify risks and make recommendations regarding loan structure as needed, based on specific loan transactions.
- Prepare loan documentation completely and accurately, consistent with loan approval terms and conditions, Bank policies, procedures, underwriting standards, and departmental procedures.
- Perform review of your own and other team member’s work to ensure that loan documents are accurate and error free.
- Complete flood insurance review in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
- Perform and review UCC Searches.
- Order flood determinations.
- Prepare title/escrow instructions.
- Consistently complete follow-up to ensure that all issues have been resolved and loan documents are delivered in a timely manner.
- Ensure proper loan documentation and collateral documentation by staying abreast of various laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of compliance issues by staying abreast of and interpreting various laws, compliance regulations, policies and procedures. Works with the compliance/risk management officer on lending compliance issues and is a member of the Compliance team.
- Maintain and apply sufficient knowledge of regulatory compliance and complete with passing scores on-line compliance training according to established schedules.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of high school or equivalent

Working knowledge of banking and credit structures and documentation. Excellent organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to utilize computer applications associated with the Bank's software for documentation and operating systems. Prior experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (electronic files) preferred.
