We have facilities in San Jose, Santa Clara, Stockton, Rancho Cordova, Wheeling, IL and a new location in the Atlanta, GA area. We serve the manufacturing needs of over 200 companies in Silicon Valley and beyond, producing Sheet Metal, Machined Parts, Cable Assembly, and Electro-Mechanical and Electronic Assemblies.
About this Opportunity:
The Documentation Specialist is responsible for creating manufacturing work instructions, other types of illustrative instructions, and to assist in related administrative documentation tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Create manufacturing work instructions for various customer products.
- Take digital photographs and download it onto a PC.
- Manipulate digital photographs using any suitable software.
- Effectively communicate and interact with employees.
- Create complex documents that which include tables, photographs, and text using page layout software.
Job Requirements / Skills:
- This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience with the creation of process documentation and or work instructions.
- AA degree or equivalent in technical writing, documentation, or a closely related field may substitute for the experience requirement.
- Read and write English with adequate skill to prepare clear descriptions of complex tasks.
- Thorough knowledge of MS Windows, Word software, and one or more image manipulation software
package.
