The Director of Nursing is someone who is ready to work together with the Administrator, Department Managers, nursing staff, and everyone else to help continue the 5 star quality of care that this facility provides.
The Director of Nursing is to be clinically competent; deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacts with patient, visitors, and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
The Director of Nursing promotes the physical and mental health of residents by applying the nursing processes. They are also someone who will use their leadership skills to help lead and guide those they work with. The position is full time and include great benefits. Some of the essential duties of this role include:
- Overall management of the entire nursing department and staffing levels.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures and ensure compliance
- Liaison between the facility, physicians and family members
- Work closely with all other departments to ensure excellent overall resident care.
- Provide direct/hands-on resident/patient care as needed.
Experience:
- Nurse Management: 5+ years
Education:
- Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred (BSN). Must be in good standing with the State Board of Nursing and maintain all required continuing education/licensing requirements at all times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $175,000.00 per year
