CartBarn is looking to hire an experienced driver with excellent customer service skills. We are looking for an honest and reliable person with a Class C with J-ENDORSEMENT or CLASS A.

The company vehicle is a 2016 3500 Dodge Ram towing multiple trailers, maximum 40' in length. This position does not require any tractor/trailers driving.

The job is picking up and delivering of golf carts to individual customers, golf courses, and events.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Under minimal supervision, provide pick-ups and deliveries of golf carts and other like vehicles for business operations in the safest, most efficient manner. Demonstration of new vehicle to customer required. Operating the delivery vehicle (car, van or pick up) and trailer in a safe and cautious manner to maintain a clean driving record. Driver will be traveling within Reno/Sparks, Carson, Fernley, Truckee & Tahoe California areas. This is not a long distance position.

2. Strong attention to detail required.

3. Maintain communication throughout the day with office personnel and customers (company provided cell phone.)

4. Properly and safely operate a forklift for loading and receiving of product and equipment.

5. Maintain a professional attitude, attendance, conduct and appearance. Must maintain cooperative working relationships.

6. Provides information and troubleshooting of customer cart issues in a polite, professional and informed manner to set proper customer expectations and satisfaction.

7. Training provided in golf cart maintenance and on-site troubleshooting.

8. General maintenance knowledge would be a plus.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Graduation from high school,

Experience: Two years delivering product to end user with customer focus interface.

PREFERRED:

Driver with proper endorsements and experience with DOT regulations and requirements. Some mechanic background.

LICENSE:

This position requires the use of a company vehicle while conducting business.

MUST possess a valid “J” endorsement and/or Class A Nevada driver’s license an acceptable driving record. MUST HAVE CURRENT DOT MEDICAL as you will be hauling a 40' trailer.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, regularly lifting equipment (up to 75 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing, kneeling or walking. Must have the ability to function and operate and perform safely on a forklift, ladder or any other OSHA standards.

This position is full-time. Must be able to work flexible hours which may include early mornings, evenings and weekends. Summer hours are longer & will require overtime.
