Delaware Valley Job Corps is an education and training center located in beautiful Callicoon, NY. We are a Center which uses student-focused programs to ensure successful training and employment placement for each individual we serve. With a capacity of 208 students, we strive to achieve excellence for each student across 7 different trades.

The Driver reports to Center Tuesday through Saturday 11a-8p

Driver Responsibilities Include:

• The primary goal of our drivers is to ensure that we are providing safe, efficient and effective transportation for students.
• Performs maintenance and inspections of Center’s facilities and systems to ensure functionality and prevent disruption of student and staff services.
• Completes, tracks and documents work status and notifies supervisor of issues and concerns.
• Provides students with timely and efficient student transportation services as required.
• Maintains appropriate vehicle documentation per DOL/Company requirements.
• Schedules and delivers vehicles for preventive maintenance and repairs as necessary.
• Shows respect and courtesy to students and holds them accountable for their actions and behavior.\
• Provides quality services for students and ensures that quality is maintained and student needs are met. Pursues improvement and enhancement of requisite services.

Driver Qualifications Include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degrees preferred. Prefer previous experience working with youth.
• Must possess and maintain a valid in-State Driver’s License and meet Company insurability requirements.
  • CDL is strongly preferred.
