Spies Pool is adding a 5th delivery route and needs to add 1 driver. We are a commercial pool chemical supplier, repair and renovation company located in Kissimmee, FL that has served Central Florida for over 34 years. Brief description of job responsibilities:

• Transport deliveries locally according to manifest in a safe, responsible manner and in accordance with company procedures and applicable DOT regulations
• Applies knowledge and abilities to safely load and unload deliveries according to size of load and content descriptions
• Obtains and maintains proper delivery authorization and pickup documentation, and submit in a timely manner
• Provides good customer service and maintains a professional manner and appearance to enhance the company's image
• Performs a daily DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections according to checklist and keeps an accurate copy in the vehicle at all times
• Knowledge of Central Florida area. We service Osceola, Orange, Polk, Lake, and Seminole counties - no over night or long distance hauling
• Must climb stairs on customer's property and when entering/exiting vehicle multiple times a day
• Warehousing
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Overtime available

Requirement

• Current DOT physical needed
• High school diploma or equivalence
• 2 years previous driver experience as a Class A or B with Hazmat driver
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Reading skills
• Have verifiable references and a solid work history
• Have a clean criminal background
• Have a clean driving record (valid driver's license)
• Good DOT on road inspection record
• Work with quality in mind to provide the very best customer service
• Diplomacy
• Time management skills
• Excellent organization and planning skills
• Dexterity skills

Physical Requirements:

• Sitting for long periods during driving
• Lifting up to 1 00lb at times during the day. Job can be strenuous when loading and unloading the vehicle
• Stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling and pulling
• Exposure to all types of Florida outdoor weather.

This is a permanent full-time position. Must be willing to work overtime when needed. We are a drug free workplace and you will have to pass a drug screening.

PAY: Is an example. Will be based on experience. Open to discussion.
