We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to manage customer queries for a right-leaning conservative political e-commerce site. The ideal candidate will be familiar with and have worked in the e-commerce industry. You may also be asked to process orders or modifications. The ability to remain calm when customers are frustrated is imperative. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction. Experience working with computers and understanding technology is vital.
Requirements:
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative (especially with e-commerce)
- Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Familiarity with developing and building customer relationships
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Proficient using computers and various apps
- Clear problem solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Take the extra mile to engage customers
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times
- Knowing our products inside and out so that you can answer questions
- Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour to start (compensation and wage increases are commensurate with experience and performance)
