Overview:
Nichols, a division of Imperial Dade, leading national distributor, is seeking a detail-oriented eCommerce Product Administrator to join our Marketing team in Norton Shores, MI.


The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00pm.


This role will:

  • Identify, create, deploy, update, and manage rich product content.
  • Create product campaigns that promote the growth of online sales across eCommerce platforms.
  • Owns creation and maintenance of all customer facing product data and consistency, promoting overall digital traffic and revenue growth.
  • Support our Marketing department.

Responsibilities:

You will:

  • Obtain new product data, literature, video and images from brands and 3rd party representatives
  • Own and master eCommerce catalog SEO and content.
  • Provide first level trouble-shooting of web site product specific issues as they arise.
  • Execute and report on product campaigns per Marketing calendar.
  • Understand industry standards and best practices that should inform how we can differentiate and offer best-in-class data and information
  • Ongoing review and updating of product content to keep information accurate, relevant and consistent. Promptly correct all mistakes/errors found or reported.
  • Responsible for accurate, user friendly and easily searchable descriptions on website.
  • Partner with our vendors to ensure we have consistently updated and relevant product information
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments including warehouse operations, inventory control, purchasing, account support, sales, pricing department, IT and marketing to ensure item set up and content is accurate and working correctly.
  • Responsible for testing updates and modifications related to item maintenance on eCommerce website.
  • Support other marketing department activities and projects as necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive data at all times.

  • You are a data driven wizard.
  • You enjoy developing enhancements while keeping data integrity, communicating effectively across all stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with 10-key calculator
  • Good verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to relate well to the public, in person and on the telephone
  • A good balance and prioritize multiple requests
  • Capability and practice in handling complex and/or multi-faceted tasks
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software
