YOUR IMPACT:
CHA creates state-of-the-art mechanical systems that prioritize energy efficiency without sacrificing strength or ramping up costs. Our team consists of industry leaders who have valuable hands-on experience as plant managers and engineers in industrial settings. We offer complete mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineering and design/construction services for companies throughout the manufacturing sector as well as a variety of public, private and institutional clients. Our professionals will perform a thorough analysis of your systems and utilize proven methods to optimize performance.
The Engineer III conducts the design development, implementation, and technical analysis of technical various systems to implement new products, or changes to an existing scheme, to suit individual client needs. At CHA, our Engineer III works on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual and company requirements.
The Engineer III monitors progress and performance against the project plan and acts immediately to resolve operational problems and minimize delays, as well as recognizes technical discrepancies in analytical results, and makes appropriate corrections. The Engineer III identifies, develops, and gathers technical resources necessary to complete assignments. The Engineer III completes field assignments when appropriate.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of related engineering experience required
- Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of the respective engineering field as well as proven ability to practically apply it in a professional environment
- Knowledge of the National Electric Safety Code and other building codes required
- Knowledge of Visual Lighting, SKM Powertools, Elum tools preferred
- Proficient in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
- Understanding of QA/QC procedures
- Familiarity with cost estimating preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
- Desire to work in a collaborative team environment with the willingness to assist more senior staff
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required
- Participation in a professional engineering society/organization is preferred
- Ability to travel (~10% of the time) required
