Position:Emergency Room Nurse

$60/Hour, 13 Weeks Contract,36 hours/week

Shift Info :Night shift 1900-0730

• 2 years of experience as Emergency Room Nurse required.
• 2+ years recent ER experience preferred
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• PALS Certification required
• TNCC Certification required
• NIHSS Certification required
• California state RN License required

Job Description

• Current California RN license, BLS, ACLS* and PALS* certifications required,
• 2+ years recent ER experience preferred and operating knowledge of Electronic Medical Records preferred.
• Must pass nursing medical and telemetry tests.
• Provides patient care in an emergency setting, reflecting initiative, flexibility, and responsibility with minimum supervision.
• Triages safely, rapidly, and accurately. Communicates with physicians about patient status
• Must be willing to cross-train in other nursing departments as the need arises.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English; both verbal and written.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and interface professionally, tactfully, and respectfully with patients, staff, the general public, and governmental agency reps.
• Basic computer skills required.
• If not ACLS and PALS certified, new hires must obtain the required certification within 90-days of hire.
