Full Job Description
Position: EntryLevel Metal Shear Machine Operator
Location: Rossville, GA
Pay: $15 - $20hr Dependent upon experience
Essential Functions/Duties:
- Sets up and operates fabricating machines, such as shears, brakes, bending
- Inspects assemblies and installation for conformance with specifications, using measuring instruments, such as tape measures, calipers, etc
- Grinding and finishing completed products
- Performing quality checks on completed products
- Conforming with state and company safety regulations
Basic Requirements & Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively throughout entire shift
- Ability to manipulate large metal objects.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Reliable transportation
- Pass a drug test and criminal background
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday – Friday 1st shift
- Overtime/Weekends required as needed
