Position Summary:

The Event Installation On-Road Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the delivery of equipment and supplies for special events, such as parties, concerts, conferences and festivals. This position reports directly to the VP of Operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

. Work with event planners, suppliers/vendors, and contractors to determine the delivery requirements for each event. Ability to support last mile client experience for custom events and rental services.

. Develop delivery schedule, routes, and work assignments for the delivery team. Experience with designing and/or advising on routes in dispatch to maximize team's potential.

. Supervise the delivery team to ensure that all equipment and supplies are delivered on time and in good condition. Provide hands-on support for a team of over 200+ drivers.

· Communicate with event planners to confirm delivery details and requirements.

· Proven knowledge of Department of Transportation compliance and safety regulations. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local transportation laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in fleet operations.

. Experience and knowledge of warehouse operations, including packing and loading. Oversee loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.

. Skilled at building partnerships with delivery and installation teams while providing support to them to improve productivity and company brand.

. Ability to drive basic KPI milestones, including fill rate, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.

. Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.

. Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training.

. Ability to communicate and support a mainly Spanish speaking workforce.

. Ability to work weekends to support peak volume for special events.

. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree required.

· At least five years of experience with on road supervision, delivery, and install.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
