Summary:
Performs increasingly more sensitive and more complex administrative duties for senior executives at the highest levels of the organization; transcribes, types, maintains records and files, distributes mail; performs telephone reception; welcomes and directs on-site visitors; duplicates and distributes photocopies; routes faxes; revises work assignments at various subordinate levels to enhance administrative support efforts and meet department objectives; participates in the team or group work activities in the office; performs the above duties and responsibilities in a highly complex and confidential environment requiring direct supervision from a senior-level executive, with extensive latitude for utilizing judgment and initiative.
Starting salary for this position is $61,423 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience
1. Associate’s degree and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time secretarial or related experience; or
2. High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time secretarial or related experience.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
The preferred candidate will have experience in supporting Lab Management/ Operations with previous supervisory/leadership experience, previous administrative support experience, experience with multilevel managerial organizations and prior experience managing confidential data. They will also have experience preparing reports, records and presentations, will be experience in preparing documentation, the ability to preform varied and complex analysis and the ability to analyze and project information for statistics.
