The Administration Department is focused on maximizing productivity and efficiency through daily administrative and logistical support. This is achieved by maintaining a detail-oriented and proactive approach to calendaring, projects, and workflow, while remaining a reliable resource for guidance and assistance on departmental processes and procedures.
Position Responsibilities
Golub Capital is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support high-level executives of our Executive Team. The ideal candidate must be flexible, have the ability to multi-task, make decisions in a fast-paced environment and be willing to pitch in wherever they are needed.
The primary focus of the position is to assist in managing business activities but will likely also involve some personal work. This role includes scheduling meetings, booking / managing travel, processing expense reports and other administrative requirements. The position has high visibility, high impact and client interaction; therefore, requires an intelligent, mature and discreet individual. The individual must be flexible on hours as required for this role. The position requires the candidate to monitor office emails and be available by cell phone during non-working hours.
Regular tasks will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Support high-level Executives
- Heavy calendar management; accurately manage executive calendar
- Comprehensive travel planning; domestic and international
- Assist with maintaining and updating data in CRM database
- Update and maintain confidential files
- Complete ad-hoc projects as assigned
- Handle personal requests
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity is preferred
- Excellent computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, previous experience using a CRM program a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Detail-oriented, meticulous, highly accurate
- Knows when to ask questions with a heightened sense of urgency
- Friendly, upbeat, pleasant demeanor; good at building alliances and possesses a helpful, client support attitude
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of job responsibilities
- Strong work ethic, flexible with regard to hours, available after hours on cell phone
- Proactive problem-solving abilities
- A “no task is too small” attitude
- Ability to manage changing demands in fast-paced environment with strong multi-tasking skills
- COVID vaccinations required, subject to applicable local, state and federal law

Compensation & Benefits
For New York City Only: It is expected that the base salary range for this position will be $70,000 - $100,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experiences and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an ‘at-will position’ and the Firm reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance, Firm or individual department / team performance and market factors.
