The Executive Coordinator of Lighthouse Mission Ministries (LMM) serves as the point person for executive functions relating to the President & CEO and Chief of Advancement focusing on capital campaign team operations and the integration of data and prospect visits. They will place a special emphasis on increasing the productivity and effectiveness of the Leadership Team at LMM. Ensure best practices are maintained while assisting in prospect engagement, marketing, and communications activities.


Compensation to Include:

General Position Description

  • Manage all aspects of Major Prospect List (MPL), pipeline list, and calendar management for capital campaign leaders.
  • Develop an effective action plan for top prospect strategies with the Advancement Team.
  • Serve as point person to manage and help identify, qualify, rank, and prioritize prospect opportunities in cooperation with Advancement Services Coordinator and Director of Annual Giving.
  • Manage LMM Capital Campaign database and reporting efficiently and accurately.
  • Work with the Advancement Team to develop effective written approach & relationship strategies.
  • Create effective letters and other communication to acquire visits or increase engagement.
  • Assist Advancement Team when needed to schedule visits or communications.
  • Work with the Advancement Team to create visit memos and written action plans for prospects.
  • Work with Marketing & Communications Coordinator to develop effective communication tools.
  • Organize and prioritize Executive Director’s email and media requests.
  • Take accurate meeting minutes for Board Meetings, Neighborhood Advisory Meetings, and other meetings as needed.
  • Collect staff prayer requests and send weekly prayer emails to all staff.
  • Write grant applications as needed.
  • Run LMM errands and complete other administrative tasks as directed, including-cross training.
  • Develop healthy working relationships with staff members and volunteers.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors regarding priorities, decisions, and challenges.
  • Encourage and support staff in accomplishing objectives and goals.
  • Participate in prayer and Christian devotionals in group settings.
  • Plan a variety of events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Organizational Relationships:

  • Works alongside the Administrative Department, across departments, and with a variety of staff, volunteers, and interns.
  • Represents LMM to supporters, community partners, and the general public.
  • Reports directly to the President & CEO.

Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a combination of education, life, and work experience that demonstrates the ability to fulfill all aspects of the job description. To include an Associates Degree and a minimum of 2 years of professional administrative experience.

  • Possess problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to use judgment to work independently and make decisions in accordance with LMM values.
  • Great organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Flexible, able to change directions quickly.
  • Expertise in Google and Microsoft Office Suites.
  • An active church/prayer life, compassionate heart, strong desire to serve the Mission by supporting staff in ministering to those whom it serves. Agreement with the Statement of Faith and Life and Personal Covenant.

Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions:.

  • Sedentary; sitting 70%; walking 15%; standing 15%.
  • Ability to travel between LMM locations and access and navigate each department at LMM facilities.
  • Possible exposure to a variety of illnesses.
