Position Summary:
Exeter Township is seeking a hardworking, reliable individual to perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled duties related to the cleaning, maintaining, and repairing of minor equipment and facilities.
General Duties:
- Perform maintenance and repair of Township owned properties including but not limited to:
- Remove snow from entranceways, sidewalks, and parking areas
- Perform routine tasks including sweeping, scrubbing, dusting, and polishing desks and floors; washing walls, cleaning restrooms, windows, walks and fixtures; emptying wastebaskets, minor painting, and general repair work
- Requisition cleaning/maintenance supplies and equipment
- Trim shrubbery and trees
- Improve and maintain security of existing facilities
- Requisition cleaning/maintenance supplies and equipment
- Clean filters on ventilation system and police range fans
- Other duties as assigned by Executive Director of Public Works or designated alternate
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in an office environment and outside weather conditions
- Monday through Friday; 7:00am-3:30pm; some weekends
Minimum Requirements:
- Six (6) months of building maintenance
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Must hold a valid Class A, PA Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tanker endorsement
- Must be at least 18 years of age
