Bardons & Oliver, the pipe, tube & bar machine tool building experts and a Cleveland-based fixture for 130 years (but we do not act like we are that old), is seeking an experienced CNC machinist for 1st shift. Must have 3+ years of experience. If you have a good head on your shoulders, are reliable, have a great attitude and the ability to be able to think through processes clearly, follow instructions and have problem-solving capabilities, then please apply.
Some of the duties include:

• Close tolerances machining of parts of moderate to high difficulty and weighing up to several thousand pounds.
• Use of part drawings, routers, setup drawings and instructions for guidance in setting up the fixture elements and installing pre-set tooling.
• Establish part alignment, datums, and work piece offsets.
• Monitor the machining processes and measure dimensions with precision gauges.
• Make tooling and offset adjustments as required to meet part specifications.
• Work with programmers and other production personnel to refine the CNC program and other supplied information.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in setup and operation of CNC Machines Lathe and/or Mills
• Ability to read blueprints and understanding drawing features such as GD&T
• Ability to follow written instructions and procedures
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and strong math skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
