We are looking for an experienced HIS licensed Outside Sales Consultant / In-Home Design Representative in Sacramento to join our highly motivated team at Chriswell Home Improvements. Our product lines include kitchen & bath remodeling, replacement windows, roofing, siding, exterior paint, exterior decks, entry doors and senior walk-in tubs.

Outside Sales Consultant Job Summary:

We are looking for consultants/estimators who know how to close the deal, are goal oriented/money motivated and have at least 2-3 years of in-home sales experience.

This is an outside sales position, where you will provide free in-home consultations and estimates to homeowners. Each customer appointment is pre-screened, scheduled, and confirmed in advance of the in-home visit (this is not door to door sales – homeowners have made contact with our company, requesting an estimate on our Home Improvement Services/Products). The Sales Design Consultant must be able to provide an interactive presentation to the consumer in the convenience of their own home.

Outside Sales Consultant Position Focus:

The Sales Consultant/In-Home Estimator will meet with customers in their homes to estimate the costs of their kitchen, bathroom, and full home remodeling projects.

• Provide guidance and respond to customers' questions regarding their home renovation projects.
• The Sales Consultant/In-Home Estimator will drive sales performance to meet company sales objectives.
• Utilize computer skills to input data gathered during estimate. Dress code is business casual, includes jeans along with the company provided shirt.

Outside Sales Consultant Candidate Qualities and Job Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of PROVEN in-home selling experienceselling interior/exterior residential home improvement projects.
• Position requires local market area travel with the use of a personal vehicle to travel to appointments.
• Must have valid driver’s license and carry required level of automobile insurance.
• Strong in-home sales background in the construction industry (worked for Quality First, Sears, Lowes, K-Designers, or Home Depot).
• Construction knowledge and experience with residential remodeling
• High level of professionalism in dealing with clients and team members.
• Excellent opportunity for enthusiastic, motivated, and results-oriented individuals with excellent sales skills.
• Excellent verbal, social and written skills.
• Must be computer proficient and possess knowledge of emails, text, Microsoft Office, etc.
• Ability to make measurements, basic drawings and produce shopping lists for clients (countertops, cabinets, kitchens, windows, tile, trim, hardware, fixtures, etc.).
• High school graduate or equivalent required.

Outside Sales Consultant Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience selling Kitchen & Bath Remodels or Exterior Products
• Experience in interior remodeling
• Able to work 6 days/week, mornings, and evenings

This job is fully commission based!

Commission: 10%-12% sales commission with half up front and half upon completion of the project.
