Description:We are looking for an F&B Supervisor to join our Artesian Restaurant Managers to provide leadership and direction to drive guest and team member engagement, ensuring that all restaurant and lounge activities are performed professionally and efficiently, and creating the ultimate in guest experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise daily restaurant shift operations and ensure compliance with all policies, standards and procedures.
• Responsible for all areas of the food & beverage operations
• Ensure all customers are provided with outstanding service
• Ensure kitchen, restaurant, and bar operations are opened and closed according to policy
• Responsible for ordering supplies, and inventory control and establishing relationship with suppliers ensuring the business receives competitive terms
• Responsible for food hygiene, and health and safety issues
• Responsible to assist in menu planning, development and meal specials
• Ensure all kitchens and eating areas are organized and maintain a high level of cleanliness
• Provides leadership and guidance to all team members
• Ensure proper cash management controls are followed by all food & beverage staff members, as per policy
• Ensure the food & beverage operations are properly staffed with trained competent individuals
• Adhere to all government guidelines for proper and safe food and beverage service (Serve Safe; Smart Serve; Food Handling Training Protocol - Ministry of Health)
• Ensure waste is minimized and properly recorded
• Assist team members on the floor during meal periods and high demand times..
• Review guest comments, guest satisfaction results and other data to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide guidance and direction to subordinates through coaching, counseling, mentoring, and reviewing performance. Empower team members to deliver the ultimate guest experience.
• Observe team member service behaviors and provide ongoing feedback.
• Ensure the environment of the department emphasizes motivation, empowerment, team work, continuous improvement and a passion for providing service.
• Encourage and build mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members.
• Other duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager

Requirements:1. Minimum 2 years previous experience as a food & beverage supervisor
2. Extensive server experience in an upscale resort and food and beverage
3. Experience in training and overseeing a staff of at least 10 food and beverage employees.
4. Experience with POS and implementing SOP’s
5. Safe Food Handler Certified Smart Service Certified
6. Able to work independently
7. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
8. Excellent organizational skills
9. Must possess effective oral and written communication skills
10. Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
11. Intermediate computer skills
12. Team player
13. Strong interpersonal, team member relations and leadership abilities.
14. Well versed in Food & Beverage financial aspects
Ability to identify and solve problems.
