Fabrication Lead 3rd shift - Ventrac Job at The Toro Company

Hours: Sun-Thurs 10pm-6:30am (start times may vary with over time)
Wage: $20+/hr determined by experience and qualifications
Summary:
This person serves as a department leader in the Fabrications Department, providing day-to-day direction to employees in order to achieve Ventrac objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Meet production standards while maintaining production duties
- Demonstrate leadership skills to drive performance, motivate and encourage direct reports
- Delegate and direct general tasks for shift employees in Fab
- Ensuring fab work centers are running as required to hit daily targets. Workstations include: Lasers, Press Brakes, Saw, Drills
- Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools
- Troubleshooting/determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do
- Drives and support continuous improvements
- Use the Ventrac Network, routings, and schedule
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma, GED or equivalent school with relevant work experience
- Minimum 1-3 years of applicable work experience
- Safety conscious individual
- Must be able to read and understand established procedures and detailed work instructions
- Self-motivated individual which understands the importance of time constraints
- Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs. regularly and bend, squat, walk or stand for long periods of time
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1year + of leadership experience
- Experience running Lasers and Press Brakes
