Position Overview:
Great Lakes Clinical Trials is a fast-growing organization that is looking to welcome a new leader onto their team. The position will lead all aspects of facilities management for our three locations in addition to project management duties, as determined by senior leadership and needs. This position impacts all parts of our operations, starting with ensuring that our clinical patients are entering a safe, professional, and aesthetically pleasing environment. This position will also be responsible for the ongoing technical and administrative function of our clinical operations, specifically that all the equipment, tools and software systems that are used by our staff members are working appropriately. This full-time position will be based out of the Ravenswood site and report to Dr. Manish Jain, Principal Investigator, and site head. Travel to both the Andersonville, Clark Street, and Gurnee locations will be required determined by the needs at those sites.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that we have safe, welcoming, and professional office for the staff to do their work and to welcome patients.
2. Create and manage an inventory of all equipment, machines, devices, systems, and tools that support our team’s daily work. Answering the question, “What are all the tools currently being used by staff and how is the quality of these tools?”
3. Partner with Flourish IT to ensure that all our systems, software and hardware that are used at GLCT – are the right ones, working well – and ensuring that the staff is properly trained in how to use them.
4. Partner with Flourish IT to ensure that all systems and tools connected with the security of our sites is identified, managed, and working properly.
5. Work with Flourish IT to handle required IT onboarding of all new hires.
6. Partner with Site Directors to ensure that their needs are met as it pertains to their facility and the offices in which their team works and see’s patients.
7. Partner with the Recruitment leader and walk through with the eyes of a new patient – to ensure that their visit to our site is positive, welcoming and reflects the brand of GLCT and Flourish.
8. A future goal (after each site’s facilities, maintenance and systems are running smoothly) is to define and propose specific activities that can be implemented by our staff that will support a more green-eco-friendly environment.
Goal:
1. Consistency of organized, patient centric, comfortable, and updated areas.
2. We have a temp monitoring system that is functional.
3. We have consistency and a plan around all our equipment, devices, and supplies.
4. Someone oversees all locations: managing the maintenance and taking care of any issues that arise, and ensuring the locations are organized, professional and welcoming.
5. This person works closely with IT for phone systems, and any other technology used in the buildings – is effective and valuable.
6. Cameras and security are managed.
7. This person collaborates closely with recruitment to support a pleasant location for the patients.
8. This person manages programs that help us be more efficient and greener.
9. We have long-term storage resources. Defining what goes off site and what stays on site.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
