Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide a clean and safe working environment for our staff, customers, and visitors.
• Clean and maintain both industrial plant and office, but primarily working within the plant.
• Assisting the Building Maintenance Manager with day-to-day maintenance requests and upkeep, primarily of the plant, and assisting office staff with requests as needed.
• Perform routine facilities maintenance duties to keep the plant clean and neat, including servicing, cleaning, and supplying restrooms, emptying trash, stocking and organizing.
• Maintain dumpster area and monitor trash pick-up.
• Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, wood pallets and equipment as needed.
• Use ladders to dust, wash walls/ceilings/blinds, polish and change light bulbs in fixtures.
• Sweep floors
• Empty metal scrap and steel shavings into proper dumpsters.
• Set-up, arrange, or remove tables/chairs to prepare facility for events or meetings.
• Stock meeting rooms with beverages.
• Remove debris from outside areas of building and lot.
• Requisition supplies needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Abide by all safety standards and all company guidelines and policies.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education/Skills Required:

• Experience cleaning in a manufacturing work environment is a plus.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Must be a reliable, serious, committed worker with strong work ethic and good communication skills.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years of age.
• Available to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Must have the ability to regularly to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, crouch, bend, stretch, pull or push and lift items. The employee must frequently lift and move items over 20 pounds.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
